Downloads for previous versions of Minecraft can be found here.
(edit) There’s a couple of outsanding bugs in this release at the moment. Gathering feedback from the various forums. The blocking issues already gathered can be found on the BuildCraft 2.2.7 ticket list. Sorry for the inconveniences.
Special thanks to OutOfBounds, and Flex, who provided help on porting both BuildCraft and the Forge.
Enjoy!
First comment yay
and when i start it now it says outdated mods plz fix
I have no idea what the problem is. What version of BC did you get, what version of MC, did you start from a clean jar, do you have other mods…
yes i started from clean jar and no othermods and i downloaded the mods from the links in manual client installation
shall i have modloadermp 1.9pre5?
… hum … you realize this is a 1.0.0 release, and not 1.9pre5, right?
yes but there is no modloadermp 1.0.0
and by the way i can’t do the windows client download beacuse you can’t download buildcraft-2.2.6.pack shall it be like it is now or shall it be a download link ?
oh i read wrong i guess i can fix now
ok now i saw that you need ro refresh
mod_pack_installer
@ viking99 – the file buildcraft-2.2.6.pack was broken. I just re-uploaded it, should work better. now.
Soooo where is this buildcraft-2.2.6.pack because im following this video tutorial to install it and i cant find a DL link anywhere!!!
@danman, http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/installation/windows-installer/
i did everything and i just got black screen!
i got black screen!!!
do buildcraft work for mac?????
Hooray for SpaceToad, thanks so much! Can’t wait till I can get 3.x on SMP. Keep up the great work!
Yeah – that 3.x SMP will take some more time. There’s still a couple of feature to implement / stabilize on SSP first…
You’re back from vacation?
Yup.
do you could add the new things into Documentation–>Recipes ?
And can you add descriptions to the items, it would be helpful for beginner in buildcraft
I’m not going to document 3.x until design is stabilized – probably for 3.1.
For beginners, you always have the choice to look at various videos or get one issue of the official doc.
do you need mod loader because every time i install this game it keeps crashing…
http://www.mod-buildcraft.com/installation/manual-client/
oh thanks
Alright my engines wont work? i read what to do on the frequently asked questsions and watched the video and i put the power.framework=buildcraft.energy.PneumaticPowerFramework
line in there, but thats already there. anything else i have to do?
did everything on it but still crashes
if it crashed after the mojang screen, you have to instal forge manually. you cant put it in modloader
i need help installing it…
Want a video guide? ill make one real quick.
i meant to reply to john. oops

can someone make how to install this mod with everything…….i search lots of videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBDYQPkOYO8&feature=youtu.be
its very simple, and modloader and modloader MP was already installed.
i have a windows……….
lmao i cant help you there buddy. sorry. ask spacetoad for one, its extremely easy to install it though.
Your loss. Sorry.
I have it all downloaded but when I run Minecraft it hasn’t installed. There aren’t any items in my inventory and I can’t craft any of them either.
I can’t install it!
I just finished 8 hours of C++ coursework.
I love you so much right now spacetoad <3.
Working absolutely fine here by the way.
Installed Modloader, ModLoaderMP and forge through MCPatcher.
Dropped buildcraft.zip files in minecraft/mods folder and it works absolutely fine.
To those who are having trouble getting it to work. Try making sure you install in the correct order.
ModLoader -> ModLoaderMP -> Forge -> Buildcraft
Anyone else having a problem where only BuildCraft blocks will break with a single hit and not drop? I am getting this issue with both the 2.2.6 and 3.0.2 version. Before you ask, no I am not in creative mode. To try to troubleshoot I directly ran the minecraft.jar with a batch file so I can see the console output for errors, and there are not any being printed. I also double & tripled checked that ModLoader and such are up to date and installed in the correct order…
We’re having the same problem. 1.0 SMP server with nothing but Buildcraft 2.26 and its dependencies installed.
Me too. It’s really quite annoying.
Known issue, very annoying I agree. In the process of being fixed…
Anyone else crashing as soon as you start up a filler? I set it to wall and it gave me the dirt backgound with “saving chunks” then crashed.
Also having this problem on “fill” or on a builder… anyone figure this out yet?
SpaceToad you’ve done a great job.. I really love your mod and the interview video was nice too, I’m just waiting for Eloraam and Albaka to update their mods.. So I can use IndustrialCraft, RedPower and BuildCraft to make some pretty awesome stuff. You’re awesome SpaceToad, and I’m really looking forward for this mod to be updated with some really awesome stuff.. Thanks for this mod..
@magicalme96
BuildCraft has still some bugs. Don’t worry, at least its updated.. You’ll just have to wait for SpaceToad to fix them.. Meanwhile.. Have some fun with the other things Buildcraft has..
Yeah I fully understand that it’s going to have bugs just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something I did wrong while installing, I’ll just leave it at that and mess around with the other awesome stuff! Thanks SpaceToad for getting it all working with the new patch!
Well it runs just fine for me, however all the pipe textures are messed wrong. Like golden power pipes are made of cake lol.
(with optifine and tmi)
IIRC, reinstall Forge so it overwrites Optifine and see if that fixes it. When I was trying to get it to work yesterday, I *think* that’s what I did. (But I need to use MCPatcher for my textures to show correctly, so I had to ditch Optifine).
Make sure you’re using a fresh minecraft.jar, and make sure you install the dependencies in exactly this order: Modloader, ModloaderMP, Forge, MCPatcher.
MCPatcher? I don’t even know what that is sorry.
this is a programm i use to test MC while modding because you easier get out the errorlog end you get it everytime!
Self soluted the problem
was caused by Stewes Carts added Rails
fail^^
For anyone having trouble here is a video I put together. I hope this settles any problems people are having installing the mod.

YAY BC for 1.0.0!!!
Thank you:)
But I have a question.I use 3.0.2, and I accidently made a energy loop, and then, the conductive pipes EXPLODET!Is that normal, or was it the machine that was connected to that power loop?
Yup – that is expected
LOL
when, i tried installing it, it made my minecraft crash, even when i uninstalled the mod my minecraft still crashes
is it updated to 1.4.2?
