Here comes a minor BuildCraft release, 2.2.11. You shouldn’t have to upgrade except if you are having troubles with server, in particular for migration between your 1.8.1 worlds and your 1.0.0 ones, where a major issue has been fixed. Here’s the changelog:
#25 items can’t be thrown out of obsidian pipes
Items can be thrown out of obsidian pipes again.
#114 bucket “eaten” by stone engine
Stone engine do not remove the bucket anymore.
#116 temporary fix for the refinery
Fuel can’t enter back in the refinery anymore.
#117 can’t import SMP world from 2.2.5
World created with BC before 2.2.6 can now be properly loaded in BuildCraft again
#118 issues with auto-workbench refresh
Fixed a dupe bug (again) in SMP auto-workbench
#119 consider move FillerPattern and FillerRegistry out of the API
Temporary moved FillerPattern and FillerRegistry out of the API since they rely on core. AFAIK, nobody is using these at the moment, but let me know if that causes a problem.
#121 fix potential pipe exception in SMP
Fixed various exceptions in SMP when loading worlds with invalid pipe contents.
The BuildCraft server (s15972928.onlinehome-server.info) is to be updated soon. Enjoy!
Thanks for another great update!
hi SpaceToad I have an idea to BC you can You can write to me if you want to hear it
…asbergan…
Why did I get a virus? Or claim I have a virus? I’m running Windows Security Essentials and It popped saying It has a Java exploit hidden in the Transport pack
Not sure if I should submit this as a bug report because I can’t seem to get an error log from it. BuildCraft 2.2.11 seems to conflict with Zombe’s fly mod. When both are installed (you have to use his vi.class in order to fly), the client will crash whenever you hit a block with anything (fist, pickaxe, a brick, etc).
As you can see, I seem to have traced the culprit to vi.class specifically. I’ve already ruled out Zombe’s mod conflicting with ModLoader/MP or Forge. I’m looking for another fly mod, but it’s not going well because he did such an excellent job with his. Is there any hope of this conflict getting fixed or will I have to dump one mod for the other?
I’m really excited to play Buildcraft. It seems like it will be an awesome mod, especially since my friends and I are looking for ways to produce more efficient industrial powerhouses.
TL;DR I’m retarded. Zombe actually has a patch for MCForge that seems to fix the issue.
I have a suggestion for you: if a obssidian transport pipe is bind to a cobblestone transport pipe ( for example) it can’t bind to a Stone transport pipe (for example) or vice versa. this will solve the problems with the upper way of furnace (now i have a furnace with iron transport pipe in the upper way that allows items to turn back if the furnace is full but i think this is a little “bug”) =)
