Requirements:
Minecraft 1.2.5
Buildcraft 3.1.5 + Modloader/Forge etc

SneakyPipes adds 4 new pipes

Sand Pipe:
sandstone-glass-sandstone -> 8 Sand Pipes

Will ONLY connect to other pipes, not chests/machines etc

Glass Pipe
glass-diamond-glass -> 24 Glass Pipes
Expensive non-friction pipe, will not lose any speed in transit

Void Pipe
inksack-glass-redstone -> 1 Void Pipe

Any item entering this pipe will be removed from the game. Usefull to get rid of excess items if you don’t run with EE or IC2.
This is much more CPU friendly than dropping in lava/cactus etc

And last and most important, the
Sneaky Pipe
wooden pipe-redstone-wooden pipe -> 2 Sneaky Pipes
It is basically a wooden pipe BUT it has a GUI where you can specify which direction (top, side, bottom, or default) it should emulate for extraction and insertion (separatly ofc). Isn’t that sneaky?
Basically you should be able to put it below a furnace and tell it to extract from the “side” and insert to the “top”. This can help with compact builds or if you just don’t like having to put pipes on top of machines.

Another awesome and GENIUS mod from Krapht!

But I think the sand pipe would be more sensible if it were made with sandSTONE instead of sand.

The mod direwolf20 is using is called NEI or Not Enough Items. Its a TMI type inventory editor and it also serves as a recipe book. Lots of other features too.

By the way, Krapht. You gotta get a Donate link up buddy ♥

@HeadHunter67
you might have a point. I might change that in future version.

@PhothreeniX

Id rater not tbh, I earn enough through my day-job and Swedish tax laws are, lets say… complicated. I just think it would be more trouble than it is worth :-)
For me it would make more sense to send any of my donations to SpaceToad to ensure/motivate continued development of buildcraft. After all, none of my mods would have been possible without buildcraft =)

Just watched the video. Love the idea behind the sneaky pipe. one pipe for insertion and extraction.
Now I just await BC 3.2 so I can actually use it :)

@Krapht I must say I hate you :P You make wonderful things but in the end you cause my heart to break when I never can find a SMP Version in any of your mods. Keep up the good work and try to stop breaking my heart so much :P

Nice mods you have going and love the idea of SneakyPipes. Have a question though, are you also going to make an IronPipe type thing where if something comes in path A it is routed to path B and stuff coming in from B is routed to path C… etc…
Hope my thoughts were clear enough on this, awesome idea anyway and can’t wait to play with them :)

After some thinking on what you mean I think that is a pretty interesting idea. If I understood what you mean =)

What you want is a diamond style pipe that lets you set output depending on input, regardless of which item it is?
So you would set that Red->Green, Green->Yellow and Yellow -> Red
Do I understand it correctly?

Yes! You got it right on the nose! After I had made my earlier post, I realized that a diamond pipe, as you said, is closer to what I was thinking than an iron pipe. But yes, very much exactly what I was thinking. :)

I doubt the implementation for this would be tricky, the tricky part would be the GUI (as always)

Since it’s your idea, what would you call it? And how would you craft it?
