Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying to all developers who works on the Forge and producing some good old fun with Minecraft with mods like Buildcraft. :^)

I have been playing on V1.1 using buildcraft 2.2.12 for a while now and I thought it’s time to upgrade to 3.1.4 after giving enough time for modders to catch up with Notch’s latest updates of 1.2 and beyond, etc.

Tonight, I downloaded the latest versions of Modloader (for 1.2.4), ModloaderMP (1.2.4 v1), while using minecraftforge (client 2.0.0.67)… without installing any buildcraft mods. It seems to be working as normal, however when I start adding any buildcraft mods or other mods that uses forge; it trips and bombs out in a result of crash. Moo!

I began to research into the issue by using magic launcher 0.9.7, loaded in the three key mods; Modloader, ModloaderMP and Forge in the setup window. Magic reported two errors in the Forge 2.0.0.67. So, I started to test other mods that do not use Forge like OpiFine_1.2.4_HD and has no issues. I read that the crash could be caused by the magic launcher program, so I manually updated the .jar file to see if it was that problem; but sadly, it resulted the same crashing out problem. Double Moo!

I believe there’s something wrong with Forge (2.0.0.67) with the 2 errors that magic launcher picked up on. Using the latest Modloader, ModloaderMP, Forge and all buildcraft 3.1.4 mods, while using magic launcher to produce the crash list below:

—————————————————————————————————–
Mods loaded: 3
ModLoader 1.2.4
mod_ModLoaderMp 1.2.4v1
mod_MinecraftForge 2.0.0.67

Minecraft has crashed!

Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

Don’t know if this helps the development and fix any issues for forge. If you would like me to supply the files – you can get in touch to me by maddz01@hotmail.com. and I’ll be happy to supply the files that I am using.

Oh I just noticed something on Magic launcher when loading Forge mod in the list.
The displays the two errors that I mentioned above… I had a look at the log section and it reports two errors:

Missing class member: public (Lxd;IIIIFI)V a, class: jx, mod: minecraftforge-client-2.0.0.67.zip

Missing class member: public (Lxd;IIIIFI)V a, class: rr, mod: minecraftforge-client-2.0.0.67.zip

I have no idea what it means but I thought I highlight this anyways and hope it helps the issues.

Thank you and continue developing great work for the Minecraft world.

Kind regards,
Addz

Hey Cybrshdw,
I know what you are saying and it’s been understood but I didn’t get to the point of installing the buildcraft mods as I explains before, forge 2.0.0.67 doesn’t seem to be playing right on 1.2.4, where I read up it says it does.

I thought I highlight the issue anyways to the developers.
