Hey,
i think, the Querry has to reduce his scaffolding, when he has finished…

Me too,
or make it brake when the quarry is picked up again.

Throwing a few markers in and a filler set to clear can quickly remove the framework

@ant: it helps alittle but if you make your quarries 64by64 then this still proves to be an issue.
how about when the quarry is picked up the scaffolding will decay like Leaf blocks if a quarry is not touch any of that scaffolding?

I personally like having the scaffolding there. It helps to keep me from falling into a gargantuan hole if I’m running away from a creeper or something. LOL
Kind of like a caution tape in a real construction site.

Personally, I use Zombe’s modpack to add in a recipe to craft quarry frames. I use them in so many different creations as not only an awesome aesthetic piece, but as a sweet catwalk as well. If Snoochy’s suggestion were implemented, I’d have to request it be toggle-able in the config.

yeah, previously i hated how the scaffold would remain even after the quarry was gone. but as mentioned, it does kind of help us not fall in it even after completion. however. i think it should atleast start removing it’s scaffold once it is done. either be “decay” or have it such it up and send it through the pipes, that way when you start seeing scaffolding coming back to your warehouse you can hurry and go turn off your pumps cause you know it’s almost 100% done and your engines will start heating up and explode soon if you don;t go do something about it. currently through i have found a way to fix this issue. IF you use Industrial Craft. make a Mining Laser, and set it for Mining Mode to take out the bottom half of the scaffold, and set it for Explosion Mode to take out the top section of scaffold, this was highly effective! ^.^
